Brenson Jennings
pastor

Brenson Jennings began his ministry as pastor of CCBC in August of 2016. He grew up in South Carolina and served in the US Coast Guard after completing high school. God used two of his shipmates to lead him to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. His life began to drastically change and in 2004, God called him to preach. Brenson completed a Bachelor’s degree in Bible at Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, NC in 2009. After serving as a missionary for three years in Niger, West Africa, Brenson felt God’s leading to ministry in the States.

Bro. Brenson met his wife, Joanna, while in Bible college, and they were married in 2007. God has blessed them with four wonderful children.

Arthur Acosta
assistant pastor & youth minister

Arthur Acosta was born and raised in California, and his family began attending a Bible-believing Church when he was just two years old. At the age of eleven, Arthur received Christ as his personal Savior and he was baptized a week later. During his teenage years, he surrendered his life completely to the Lord, and a few years later God called him to be a preacher of the gospel!
In 2015, Arthur attended Bill Rice Bible Institute in Murfreesboro, TN and received his one-year Bible certificate. A few months later, he began attending Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, NC. There, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Bible with an emphasis in Evangelism. Arthur met his wife Lauren at Bible College, and they got married in April of 2021. They both have a passion for young people, and are very excited to be working with the youth at Crooked Creek Baptist Church.
