Children’s Sunday School

Because children are blessings and gifts from God, we believe they should receive the best teaching and care we can possibly give them.   Our children’s curriculum is designed to go through the major truths and accounts of the Bible every three years.  Using this approach, a child in first grade will have been through the  Bible in Sunday School twice by the time he finishes sixth grade.  The goal is not merely to cover the Bible, but to lay a solid foundation on which these precious children can build their lives on. Classes available are:

Infants
Toddlers
3 and 4 year olds
5 and 6 year olds
1st and 2nd grade
3rd and 4th grade
5th and 6th grade
Beginner & Junior Church
Beginner Church is held during the Sunday morning service for children ages three to five.  Students are taught Bible lessons along with appropriate crafts and songs.  Beginner church meets before the morning service in room 122 (down the stairs at the rear of the auditorium).  Junior Church is held in room 111 during the Sunday morning service for grades one through five.  Before the morning service, Junior Church students congregate on the front right pew of the auditorium (near the organ) so that they can participate in the church song service.  From there, they are dismissed to their own room for more singing, Bible memorization, and a sermon prepared by one of the several young preachers God has given CCBC.

Baby and Toddler Nursery
Nursery age children do not have to switch rooms after Sunday School since both classes are located in the appropriate nursery.
