Thank you so much for visiting ccbcathens.com!  We would love to have you as our guest this Sunday.  Here are a few notes to guide you as you plan your first visit.

What To Expect

First, you will be warmly welcomed!  We are known as a friendly church, and our desire is that your visit would be uplifting and inspirational.  Our greeters will help with any needs you might have.

Second, our church has an atmosphere of grace.You don’t have to have it “all together” in order to fit in. CCBC is filled with regular, every day people who have struggles and questions about life. You don’t have to worry about being different or being evaluated by others. We are a diverse group of people with commonality in Jesus Christ.

Third, our desire is to worship God as He told us to– in spirit and in truth.  Our music exalts Christ and inspires us to worship. We use a mixture of traditional hymns as well as newer songs.   

Fourth, our focus is the gospel of Jesus Christ and how it changes lives in this culture. Our Pastor preaches messages that are simple, Scriptural, and straightforward.

Planning your first visit

CCBC has plenty of parking on both sides of the building.  If it is raining, there is an awning  you can pull under on our south side.  You can use this entrance, also, to access our elevator if you are unable to use the stairs. As you visit, there will be  greeters ready to seat you and your family and answer any questions you might have.

The Connection Card
When you arrive our greeters will give you a welcome packet. In that packet, you will find more information about our church as well as a connection card. Please fill out the connection card and place it in the offering plate during the service.  We appreciate this record of your visit.

Childcare & Nursery

We love children of all ages here at CCBC.  We provide excellent childcare at each of our services for babies and toddlers, 3 years and younger.  A pager will be provided to you so we can contact you immediately if your child has any needs during the service. Our greeters and ushers are available to answer any questions you might have.
